Leveraging
our home location in Massachusetts,
we have joined the MassMEDIC organization, Massachusetts Medical Device
Industry Council. Through MassMEDIC, we will pursue collaborative initiatives
with the life science industry in New England,
actively participating and contributing our expertise to the MassMEDIC programs.

We
are pleased to introduce two new members of the Boston MedTech Advisors team - Yossi
Elaz and Dr. Michael Imhoff, two
industry veterans with extensive experience working for and with some of the
world leaders in the medical device industry.
Yossi
Elaz,
past Vice President at Siemens
Medical Systems, Inc., and most
recently Vice President, Patient Monitoring & IT and a member of Draeger
Medical's Global Management Team,
overseeing R&D, Product Management, Engineering, Operations and Business
Development activities. Over the years, Yossi has developed a large number of
clinical partnerships with many world leading medical institutions and opinion
leaders and has been involved in the clinical, technical and business
evaluation of numerous medical devices and technologies.
Michael
Imhoff, MD, PhD, board certified in surgery and intensive care medicine,
with over 15 years of clinical experience and strategic consulting for leading
global medical technology companies, focusing on technologies and clinical
applications for the ICU, CCU, OR and ED. Dr. Imhoff's research covering trauma
surgery, intensive care medicine, patient monitoring, clinical data management
and artificial intelligence in medicine and health economics has appeared in over
300 publications and scientific presentations. Dr. Imhoff continues to
lecture in medical informatics. He is a member of the editorial boards of the
Journal of Critical Care and of Care of the Critically Ill, and a reviewer for several
international journals.

been recently incorporated in Dortmund,
Germany, with
operations directed by Dr. Michael Imhoff.
The office in Germany enables
BMTA to better serve companies based in Europe
and assist non-European companies to assess the European markets, launch and
expand their sales and market positions or seek business relationships with
local players.
